History

Florincey Calisthenics Club was established in 2022, the culmination of a dream that has been nurtured for four generations. This long-held vision became a reality with the founding of a club designed to stand out, offering innovative and forward-thinking approaches to the art of calisthenics. At Florincey, we are committed to breaking the traditional mold, bringing fresh perspectives to how calisthenics is taught, practiced, and experienced.

As a non-profit organisation, Florincey Calisthenics Club is proudly owned and operated by the Formosa/Szabo family. Vin, Leigh, and Zoe bring over 40 years of deep involvement in the sport, with experiences ranging from performing and coaching to volunteering, committee leadership, costume design, and parenting athletes. Their comprehensive understanding of calisthenics fuels their passion for creating a club that embodies new beginnings, ignites passion, and encourages pride in all areas of life.

Florincey Calisthenics Club is more than just a place to learn and perform; it is a community where new beginnings are embraced, passions are discovered, and pride is instilled in every member. We believe in the transformative power of calisthenics, not just as a sport but as a way of life. Our mission is to guide our members through their journeys, helping them find their passion for the sport while fostering a sense of pride that they carry with them in all aspects of life.

With a deep commitment to innovation and a desire to make calisthenics accessible and enjoyable for all, Florincey is set apart by its unique approach to the sport. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where creativity and excellence thrive, and where every member—regardless of their role—feels valued and supported. At Florincey Calisthenics Club, we are not just building a club; we are building a legacy of passion, pride, and innovation that will inspire and uplift for generations to come.
